There is something about spring that gently calls us forward.
After months of stillness, reflection, and quiet processing, we begin to feel a shift, a soft awakening within. It doesn’t rush or force, it simply invites.
This is a season of renewal.
A season of becoming.
A season of letting go, so that something new can begin.
Before we can fully step into what’s next, we are often asked to release what we’ve been holding.
Not in a way that feels harsh or abrupt, but in a way that feels compassionate, aware, and intentional.
It may be old patterns, beliefs, relationships, or even expectations you once held for yourself. Sometimes it’s not about something being “wrong,” but simply recognizing that it no longer fits who you are becoming.
Letting go is not about loss.
It’s about making space.
Space for clarity.
Space for peace.
Space for something more aligned to enter your life.
And sometimes, if we’re honest with ourselves, letting go can feel difficult in a deeper way.
“Sometimes we don’t want to heal because the pain is the last link to what we lost.”
~ Ibn Sina
There is tenderness in that truth.
Because healing can feel like releasing the final thread that keeps us connected to a person, a moment, or a version of life that once meant so much. And in that space, it’s natural to hold on a little longer.
But healing does not take away the love.
It does not erase the memories.
It does not disconnect you from what mattered.
Instead, it allows that connection to transform, from something that feels heavy and painful into something that can be held with peace, gratitude, and gentle remembrance.
And within that space, healing begins.
Healing is not something we rush. It doesn’t follow a timeline or a set of expectations. Just like the natural world around us, it unfolds in its own time.
Some flowers bloom early.
Others take a little longer.
And yet, each one blooms exactly when it is meant to.
Your healing is no different.
There is no need to compare your journey to anyone else’s. No need to question whether you are “there yet.” You are exactly where you need to be.
This is where growth begins to soften.
We often think of growth as something that requires force, pushing, striving, proving. But true growth can be gentle. It can be intentional. It can be rooted in self-trust rather than pressure.
Softening into growth means allowing yourself to evolve without judgment.
It means giving yourself permission to move forward at your own pace.
To honor what you’ve been through.
To trust that even the quiet moments are part of your becoming.
And as you release what feels heavy, you begin to create space for what is meant for you.
New opportunities.
New connections.
New ways of being that feel lighter, freer, and more aligned.
This is the beauty of this season, not just in what you are letting go of, but in what you are allowing in.
Because renewal is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to yourself.
The version of you that has always been there, beneath the noise, beneath the expectations, beneath the weight of what you’ve carried.
This season is your invitation to reconnect with that part of yourself.
To trust your timing.
To honor your healing.
To soften into your growth.
And to gently, courageously step into what’s next.
“What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.”
— Richard Bach“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.”
— Pablo Neruda
As you move through this season, take a moment to notice what no longer feels aligned, the thoughts, habits, or energies that feel heavy or limiting. Gently acknowledge them, then allow yourself to release them with compassion.
In the space that opens, trust that something new is beginning to take root.
Thank you for sharing this space with me. May this season bring you renewal, healing, and the quiet confidence to trust your own timing.

Jess
This is truly beautiful and offers so much to reflect upon. As I began to consider the things I need to release in order to create the space necessary for my own growth, I realized that many of them are wounds I’ve carried within myself—self-doubt, regret, anger, and pain.
While I may not have control over everything that has happened to me, I do have the power to shape how I respond. In that, there is both strength and possibility.
May this season of renewal bring growth, healing, and grace to us all

Jess, thank you so much for sharing this. Your reflection is beautiful and takes real strength.
That awareness, recognizing what you’ve been carrying, is such a powerful step in healing and growth. You’re absolutely right, there is so much strength in how we choose to move forward.
Be gentle with yourself through this process. You’re already doing the work.
I’m so grateful you shared this space with me. Wishing you continued healing, growth, and peace this season.
With warmth and gratitude,
Jillian
